Nuvoloni, Luigi (Retired Carpenter, Algonquin Lakeshore Catholic District School Board)
Peacefully, surrounded by his family, at the Providence Continuing Care Centre, Kingston, on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 in his 82nd year after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband, best friend and lifelong soulmate of Maria. Incredible Papa and bedrock to John (his wife Tanya) and the late Walter (his wife Alieda). Devoted and doting Nonno to Lawrence, Frances, Paul, Kristina and Joseph. Survived by his loving sister Anna (the late Giovanni) Busi and younger brother Giuseppe. Affectionate brother in law of Ada (the late Alcide), Angela (Mario), Ida (Luigi), Nando (Lella), Rino (Giovanna) and the late Benito (Anna). Sadly missed by Lucy Russo-Smith and her family. Fondly remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends both in Canada and Italy.
The family will receive friends at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 392 Palace Road Kingston on Friday, September 14th, 2018 from 10 a.m. until his Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Rite of Committal St. Mary’s Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to St. Joseph’s Church or the UHKF Providence Continuing Care would be appreciated by the family. The family will be forever grateful and appreciative of the incredible care and support provided by the staff of KGH and the Palliative Care Unit at PCCC.
