Peacefully, with her family at her side, on April 2, 2018, Lucy passed away at the Grey Nuns Hospital at the age of 96.
She will be remembered by her daughters Evelyn (Doug) Stark, and Lonnie (Sonny) Wiebe; son Jerry (Faye) Stepanuik; grandchildren Donna, Joan, Tracy, Trent, Nicki, Kimberly, Lisa, Melvin, Leeanne, Shawn, Corey, Brent, Darcy, Raymond, and Tammy; great-grandchildren Lindsay, Brandon, Andrew, Devon, Katelyn, Kylie, Rhianna, Megan, Chelsea, Josh, Kennedy, Eden, Reece, Natasha, Cayla, Bradley, Jessica, Marissa, and Janelle; great-great-grandchild Jamie. She will also be missed by nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Lucy was predeceased by her husbands Walter Stepaniuk, Peter Korchewski, and Terry O’Loughlin; son Larry Korchewski, and great-granddaughter Lynelle; brothers Josef and Alex.
A celebration of Lucy’s life will be held at 2pm, on Friday, April 6, 2018 at Evergreen Funeral Home, 16204 Fort Road, with an interment and reception to follow.
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Thomas Health Centre for the kindness and care shown to Mom.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Lucy’s name may be made to the Red Cross.
