Obituary of Lucille Halloran
Lucille Halloran (nee Trickey)
Born February 25th 1933 passed peacefully surrounded by her family on December 15, 2018.
Ross, David and Mary Jo along with their spouses Maryrose Coleman and Michael Knox are heartbroken to announce the passing of their wonderful Mom to Alzheimer’s Disease.
Lucille was an incredible Mom and had a very special relationship with each of her 3 children. She was the adored and fun Grandma to Samantha and Jackie Halloran Cooper and Bradley, Matthew and Jennifer Knox.
Lucille was the loving and devoted wife of the late Joseph Halloran (2006) for 46 years. Lucille was a supportive and caring sister to the late Vivian and Ross Lowrie, Bob and Patricia Trickey and is survived by Ruth and Paul O’Neill. Lucille will be happily remembered by her many nieces and nephews and wonderful family friends.
Along with Lucille’s career in nursing and volunteerism, she had many special talents from sewing, decorating, refinishing furniture, cooking, and various entrepreneurial projects all to help provide the extras in our life and make our homes and cottages a place where everyone was welcome to enjoy many special times together.
We are very grateful for the exceptional and professional care our Mom received at Extended Care, Halton Hills. Alzheimer’s is an absolutely horrible disease so in lieu of flowers, for those who wish, donations can be made in Lucille’s memory to Alzheimer.ca
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 11am, Holy Cross Catholic Church,14400 Argyll Rd, Georgetown, Ontario. Reception to follow. To send expressions of sympathy visit www.jsjonesandsonfuneralhome.com
Our Mom and Grandma will always be remembered for her quick wit, sense of humour and as the straw that stirred our family drink.
Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de Lucille Halloran 2018.
