Huestis
– It is with deep sadness we announce the peaceful passing,
at Andrews of Summerside, of Lowell Eugene Cadman Huestis, of
Summerside, on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, aged 90 years. Born in
Summerside, he was the son of the late Albert and Florence (Rayner)
Huestis. Survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Doreen (Bowness)
Huestis; daughters Holly (Tony) Martin and Lowleen (Jim) Read; son
Ronald (Joyce); grandchildren Robyn (Adam Sellars), Brittany (Andrew
Gabel) and Shaun Martin; Ben (Rachael), Hannah, and Elliott (Beth)
Coles; great-grandchildren Austin, Jordan, Tyler, Summer Lynn and
Edward; sisters Ruth (late Mitch) Bell and Helen (Stu) Mohler;
brothers Bob (Marg) and Gordon (Ane); brothers-in-law Byron
(Shirley) Bowness and Dr. Allison (Joan) Bowness;
sisters-in-law Evelyn (late Eston) Ramsay and Linda (Alan) Leard; and
many loved nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Derwyn.
Resting at Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, for visitation on Sunday,
December 16, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, then to Trinity United Church,
Summerside, for funeral service on Monday, December 17, at 11:00 am.
Interment later in the Peoples Cemetery, Summerside. Memorial
donations may be made to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or
Island Nature Trust.
