Louise Erdely
1956-2018
Louise Erdely, 62, of Bouctouche, passed away peacefully surrounded by
the love of her family, at the Dr Georges-L-Dumont UHC, on Thursday
December 20, 2018. She was married to Edouard Erdely. Born in
Bouctouche, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Lila
(Bourque) Hébert.
Louise was a wonderful wife, mother and daughter. She loved to travel,
her favorite destination being Europe. She loved reading literature
books from acclaimed Canadian authors. She was very passionate about
the arts, home decorating and fine cooking. She also loved to work in
her beautiful gardens here at home and in her winter home in
Florida.
Louise presided over the local«La Folie des Arts de
Bouctouche» for two years, having successfully brought into the
local festival several provincially accomplished artists.
Louise was a school librarian for over 20 years in Grand Falls and
Moncton respectively.
She will be sadly missed by her mother, Lila, her husband, Edouard,
her children; Marilyn of Ottawa, Denis (Julie) of Halifax, her
brothers; Gilles (Anne) of Bouctouche, Jean-Paul (Charline) of
Saint-Antoine, Raymond Jr (Charline) of Moncton, several nieces ,
nephews, cousins , aunts and uncles.
Louise was predeceased by a sister, Jacqueline (2007).
Visitations will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de
l’église, Bouctouche, on Thursday December 27, 2018 from 7
to 9pm and on Friday from 2 to 3:45pm. The Funeral Mass will be held
in the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, on Friday December
28, 2018 at 4:00pm.
In Louise’s memory a donation can be made to the NB Lung
Association.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche.
