The family announces with great sorrow his passing after battling cancer, in Sudbury on Friday, November 23, 2018 at the age of 66 years. Son of the late George and Clarida (née Lagacé) Martin. Cherished fiancé of Barbara Rowlands and husband of the late Claire Martin. Loving father of Daniel (Sarah), Allain (Nicole), Gilles (Sylvie), and Jacques (Mélanie). Sadly missed by Barbara’s children Stacie Whipple (Joel), and Nathan Rowlands. Dear brother of Thérèse Oaks (Raymond), George, and Bernice Cronell (Edward). Predeceased by his siblings Alphée (Jacqueline) and Rachel. Grandfather of Kelsey Renaud (Jesse), Emma, Joel, Gavin, Patrick, Emilie, Cedrick, Simon, Talia, Grayson, Abigail and great-grandfather to Klaira and Kohen. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
