Obituary of Lorne Creighton
Peacefully surrounded by the love of his family, at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre in Chesley, on Saturday afternoon, March 24th, 2018. Lorne Earl Creighton, of Allenford, at the age of 88 years. Dearly loved husband of Sandra Creighton (nee Robertson) for 30 years. Loving father of Anne Creighton and her partner, Hugh O’Reilly, of Toronto, Douglas Creighton and his wife, Susan, of Greenfield, Massachusetts, Tina Huizinga, of Markdale, Paul Carlin, of Gabriola Island, British Columbia, Laura Wilson, of Newmarket and Susanne Malins, of Barrie. Proud grandfather of Amy, Richard, Alex, Evan, Damian, Grace, Nathanial, Lilianne, Genevieve, Sharlynn, Kim, Kai and Rajon. Dear brother of Donald Creighton, of Beeton and brother-in-law of James Montgomery, of Shelburne. Predeceased by his parents, Earl and Grace Creighton; his brother, Marvin Creighton; his sister, Margaret Montgomery.
A Celebration of Life for Lorne Creighton will be held in the Chapel of the BRIAN E. WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519-376-7492) on Thursday, March 29th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Kristal McGee officiating.
