Lois Hazel Ward
April 24, 1935 – November 21, 2018
Ward, Lois Hazel (Nee Chalmers)- It is with broken hearts and sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandma. Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at the age of 83.
Beloved wife of Earl Ward for 63 years. Cherished mother of Patti (Fred), Doug, Bryan (Kim) and the late Kevin (Sheila). Proud gramma of Gregg, Sheri, Amanda (Jeremy), Spencer (Stephanie) and Stevie. Special gramma of Tanner, Brayley and Madison. Loving grammie to Morgan, Luke, Nora, Mason, Evelyn, Violet, Havyn, Elliot and Emily. Predeceased by her parents William and Willietta Chalmers. Sister of the late George (Iris) and the late Dorothy. Sister-in-law to the late Edie (late Lyons), late June (late Roger), and the late Sonny (late Gail). Lois will be fondly remembered by Paula, Jason, Shannon and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her Central United Church community – Unit 7. Lois was a hard worker and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and always willing to lend a helping hand. Friends are invited to visit the Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E, 705-759-2522) on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 between 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm. Funeral Service to follow in the chapel at 3:00 pm with Rev. Laurie Milito officiating. Special thank you to Allison, Hailey and Amanda at Sault Area Hospital in Emergency and to Courtney on 3B for your care and compassion. Memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
