Llewellyn Edward Lomond

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Llewellyn Edward Lomond announces his sudden passing at his residence in Port aux Basques, NL on Tuesday, September 4th, 2018 at the age of 61 years. Born in Port aux Basques, NL, Llewellyn was the son of the late Edward and Rosina Kendall (nee Lomond). He was also predeceased by his father-in-law Carl Savery; brother Clifford (JJ) Kendall and sister-in-law Sherri Kendall.
He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Lena Jane Savery; sons Christopher (Melica) Savery both of Port aux Basques, NL, Darryl (Terri Lynn) Ashford, Bradley (Natasha) Ashford both of Georgetown, PEI; eight grandchildren Holly, Logan, Lily, Sky, Shana, Jailyn, Cassidy, Zoey; sisters and brothers Brenda (Leonard) Pike, Charlie Kendall (Kimberly Fudge), John (Marlene) Kendall, Albert (Inez) Kendall, Winnie Lomond, Freeman Lomond all of Port aux Basques, NL, Harriet (Glenn) Seaward of Airdrie, AB, Janet (John) Skinner of Oromocto, NB, Emmanuel Kendall (Albea Dugus) of Moncton, NB; mother-in-law Mable Savery of Port aux Basques, NL; bothers and sisters-in-law Carolanne (Frank) Short of Cape Ray, NL, Terry (Geraldine) Savery, Micheal (Shirley) Savery; aunts and uncles John (Nina) Lomond, Gerald (Nellie) Lomond, Ellen Kendall, Audrey Kendall, Jim (Leona) Kendall all of Port aux Basques, NL, and Bob (Barb) Kendall of Codroy Valley, NL, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He will be forever missed by many.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 5th, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm continuing on Thursday, September 6th, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm from East Haven Funeral Home Inc. (downtown location). The funeral service will be held at St. James Anglican Church in Port aux Basques, NL on Friday, September 7th, 2018 at 11 am officiated by The Rev. Eddie Coleman. In keeping with Llewellyn’s wishes, cremation will follow with interment of ashes at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Llewellyn’s memory can be made to the family.
