Lindy died suddenly in Victoria BC on June 28, 2018. She was born in Kamloops BC on January 13, 1928. Predeceased by her beloved husband Bill, parents George and Geraldine Harman, twin sisters Flo (Tommy) and Peggy (Gordon), and sister-in-law Mary.
Mom will be forever loved and missed by her children, Beth, Bob (Heather), Ken (Margaret), Maureen (Gary); grandchildren, Carley, Katey (Brent), Ben (Alexis), Julian, Carmen (Peter), Dana, Molly (Dylan), Emily, Meghan (Marko) and Tim; great-grandson, Luka, brother Pat (Betty) and many nieces and nephews.
Mom grew up in Princeton BC and took her nurse’s training at Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster. She nursed in Penticton and Comox BC. Mom was known for her love of her family, delicious meals, baking, and beautiful quilting and embroidery.
The family would like to thank Dr. Cadger, Shoal Center, RJH Emergency, and Oak Bay Lodge for their care and kindness. A family gathering will follow at a later date.
