Linda Naduriak
September 16, 1959 – December 7, 2018
With heartfelt sadness, the family of the late Linda Naduriak, beloved wife of Greg Naduriak of Canora, SK, announce her passing at the Canora Hospital on December 7, 2018, at the age of 59 years.
Linda was born September 16, 1959, to John and Frances (Steinbach) Schneider in Leader, SK. Linda attended elementary school in Liebenthal, SK and high school in Leader, SK. In 1977, she graduated with a high school diploma and in September of that year, Linda moved to Regina, SK, where she gained employment with Saskatchewan Health Services. In 1990, Linda accepted a transfer to Yorkton, SK, as she continued employment with Saskatchewan Health Services until 1996.
On August 2, 1997, Linda was united in marriage to Greg Naduriak of Canora, SK. Together, they built their life and resided on a farm south of Canora. Over the years, Linda worked with Land Titles, Court Services, Canora Medical Clinic, ME Janitorial and most recently, Good Spirit Market. Linda was a CWL member with St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in Canora, SK. She loved gardening and looked forward to enjoying her produce. She especially liked eating small, fresh potatoes in cream and dill as well as beetniks. She also enjoyed reading, sports, watching TV and listening to the radio.
Linda cherished time spent with family. She loved nothing more than to come home and spend quality time with her loved ones for holidays, special events and family functions. She was a happy soul and always had a smile and a kind word for others.
In 2014, Linda was diagnosed with a progressive neurological disorder and began experiencing loss of mobility and speech, but she was very thankful she was able to stay home, with Greg on the farm, until her declining health no longer allowed her to do so. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Linda was predeceased by her parents, John and Frances. She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, Greg Naduriak; brothers: Leo (Gladys) Schneider, Stanley Schneider (Chris Horton) and Gerald (Cathy) Schneider; mother-in-law, Marion Naduriak; brother-in-law, Bob (Sarah) Naduriak and sister-in-law, Marilyn (Terry) Hancock; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 11:00 am, Saturday, December 15, 2018, from the Chapel of Leson’s Funeral Home, Canora, SK, with Rev. Fr. Franklin Emereuwa, as Celebrant. Rite of Committal will follow in the Canora Cemetery.
