Lilly Linda Rapke
May 30, 1922 – June 14, 2018
It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our Aunt Lilly.
She was born in Grahamdale, Manitoba and moved to Winnipeg with her parents before the 1950 flood.
Lilly was predeceased by her father Gottfried, mother Anna, brothers Louis and Walter, sisters Elsie, Hilda, Ester, Johanna and Wyntina (Valerie), nephews Garry and Wayne (Butch), brothers-in-law Oscar and Angus and sisters-in-law Peggy and Mae.
She is survived by nephews, nieces, god-children, family, and many friends.
The family would like to thank Lion’s Personal Care Centre, 320 Sherbrooke Street, floors 2 and 4 for their care and compassion during Aunty’s stay.
The service will be held Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Pallbearers will be Lilly’s nephews and nieces – Raymond, Wayne, Nicole and Chantal.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made to the charity of your choice.
