Obituary for Liliana Daminato
DAMINATO, Liliana
August 13, 1970 – January 15, 2018
Dear Lili,
You were given the gift of life, and now you’ve given it back. Your graceful exit has left a void in our hearts, and while this is hard, we are grateful to have been blessed with your existence. You will always be loved, missed, and cherished – forever in our hearts.
Liliana was born and raised in Vancouver, moved to Toronto, then returned to live in Burnaby. She is survived by her parents Luigi and Bertilla (Betty) Daminato; siblings Analisa (John) and Lorenzo; nieces and nephew, Adriana, Nick and Christina; her Zii in Vancouver, Zio Cesare and Zia Angelina; and many Zii and cousins in Italy, the Okanagan, and Alberta.
Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, 555 Slocan Street, Vancouver. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 21 from 3 :00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Bell & Burnaby Funeral Chapel, 4276 Hastings Street, Burnaby. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Liliana’s name to the BC Cancer Foundation, for Oral Cancer Research
