Leslie J. Glazier
1939-2018
Miramichi – Leslie Joseph Glazier, of Riverside Drive, Miramichi, passed away at his residence on Sunday evening, April 8, 2018 at the age of 79.
Born in Bathurst, N.B., on February 10, 1939, he was the son of the late Gerald and Amelia (Roy) Glazier. He was a self-employed businessman and attended St. Michaels Basilica, Miramichi. He was a 4th Degree of Father Dixon Council, Knights of Columbus; a member of the Pioneer Citizens Club; a member of the Miramichi Salmon Association; an avid card player with the Napan Card Club.
He is survived by two daughters, Lynn Glazier Goldie (Ryan) and Lisa Marie Glazier, all of Bay du Vin; one son, Scott Glazier, of Toronto, ON.; his partner, Joan Manderson; two grandchildren, Lily and Henry Glazier; the mother of his children, Lorraine Glazier, of Bay du Vin; one sister, Lorraine Boudreau (Henry), of Quebec; three brothers, Alderic (Jennette), Omar (Denise) and George (Doris), all of Bathurst. He was predeceased by his parents.
Visitation will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., Miramichi, on Friday, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Michaels Basilica, on Saturday, April 14, 2018, at 11 am, conducted by Father Paul Doucet. Interment will be in the church cemetery, later in the spring.
