Forever In Our Hearts
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Leonard William Rahn, a husband, uncle and friend to many.
He was predeceased by his parents William “Bill” and Mabel; and brother Allen.
Len’s memory will be forever cherished by his wife Velma; brother Lloyd (Darlene); sister-in-law Gladys Rahn; brother-in-law Clare (Claire) Feero; sister-in-law Viki (Ron) Beer; nephews Kevin (Shauna) Hamm and Ken (Sue) Feero; nieces Shauna Hamm Morgan and Michele Feero; great-nephews Joel (Alicia) Hamm, Danen (Angelique) Hamm Gruell and Brodie Morgan; and cousins.
Len grew up in Nokomis and completed high school there. While growing up in Nokomis he worked at the O.K. Economy Store then later Allen Nichol’s General Store.
Len moved to Regina in 1956 and began working at Simpson Sears Accounting for six months before starting a new job with Safeway, where he worked as a Produce Manager, Store Manager and Variety Clerk in many different stores.
He retired after 39 years in 1995. In retirement, Len and Velma travelled across Canada and the States in his beloved motorhome. Len loved his family and church and they loved him.
A Memorial Service in Honour of Len will be held at Heritage Alliance Church, 3575 Hillsdale Street, Regina, SK on Saturday May, 5, 2018 at 1:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Len may be made to the Heritage Alliance Church boiler fund.
