Courvoisier, Leonard (1941 – 2018) – passed away peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Tuesday September 25th, 2018 at the age of 77 yrs. Beloved husband of Jeannine (nee Nadeau). Loving father of Jerry (Lillian), Larry (Anna), Kerry Ridler (Michael), Sherry Kelleher (Derek) and Terry Courvoisier. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Paul (Samantha), Adam (Katie), Erin (Dale), Alex (Kayla), Jennifer, Patrick (Karli), Jonathan (Deirdre), Carrisa (Evan), Samantha Ridler, Ryan Kelleher, Kelsey Johanson (Tim) and Alexis as well as great grandchildren Caelum, Winsor, Griffin, Jackson, Carter and Carson.
Predeceased by his parents Wilfred & Marie (nee Hummel) Courvoisier and his siblings Margaret Pohmuler, Ron (Gerry), Jack, Lenus (Twyla – surviving) and Junnette.
Len adored his wife and he really enjoyed family get-togethers & playing cards. He started his working career as a chef and later moved to sales. He will always be remembered as a “wheeler & dealer” who had a real zest for life. A humble man, he was a giving person who would always look to help others. He will also be remembered for his sense of humour, his love and devotion to the Montreal Canadians & his love of playing guitar and music with his family.
Family receiving friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES on Friday September 28th from 7 until 9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday September 29th at 4:30 pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Len to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by his family.
