Leo Daigle
1931-2018
SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB – Leo Daigle 87, of
Saint-Louis-de-Kent passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris
Hospital, Ste-Anne-de-Kent on Sunday, July 29, 2018. Born in
St. Louis, he was the son of the late Albert Daigle and late Mina
(Gray) Daigle. Before retiring, Leo was employed as a truck
driver.
Leo will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 62 years,
Thérèse (Hebert) Daigle; two daughters, Lise
Johnson (Jean-Nil) of St. Louis, Giséle Daigle of Edmonton;
one son, Réal Daigle (Susan) of Halifax; five grandchildren
and several great grandchildren.
He is also survived by three sisters, Camilla Gallant
(Aldéric) of Moncton, Jeanne Lewis (late Don) of Edmonton,
Marie-Laure Richard (Claude) of Irishtown; five brothers, Ernest
Daigle of St. Louis, Dolor Daigle (Rosa) of St. Louis, Camille Daigle
(Margaret) of Edmonton, Fernand Daigle (Alexina) of
Richibouctou-Village, Alfred Daigle (Aldona) of St. Louis and many
nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one infant
brother, Camille.
Visitation will be held at Thompson Memorial Home,
Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Thursday 7-9 pm and Friday at 9:00 am until
time of the service. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on
Friday, August 3, 2018 at 11:00 am, St. Louis des Français
Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Louis-de-Kent. Donations in
Leo’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer
Society. Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s
Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
