Obituary of Laurie Johnson
JOHNSON: Laurie Leeann (nee Myers) –
A lifelong resident of Chatham, Laurie Johnson passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus with her loving family by her side on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at the age of 58.
Born in Chatham, Laurie was the daughter of Elsie (Korenek) and the late Leo Myers (1998).
Beloved wife of 38 years to Stephen Anthony Johnson.
Loving mother of Eric Anthony Johnson (Sarah) of Glencoe and Sara Suanne Montgomery (Matthew) of Chatham.
Loving Nana of Poppy Johnson and Graydon and Rayner Montgomery.
Dear sister to Michelle Segeren of Chatham. Predeceased by her brother Robert Myers (2017).
Also missed by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, friends and extended family.
She will be missed and loved by all who knew her. Special thanks to Dr. Sahaib and all of the wonderful nurses working in the ICU for their care, compassion, attentiveness and professionalism.
Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Friday, April 27, 2018 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm and from 10:00 am until the Memorial Service at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 28, 2018 with Deacon Steve Cartier officiating. Interment to follow at St. Anthony Cemetery, Chatham.
