Laurent (Larry) Raymond Joseph St. Pierre
December 17, 1934 – August 13, 2018
After a long illness with dementia, we sadly announce the peaceful passing of Larry St. Pierre, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
Larry was born in Lorette, Manitoba and lived his life in St. Boniface and St. Vital. He made a career of helping people through his work as a firefighter, school bus driver and car mechanic. As an active member of his church and the Knights of Columbus, he loved to chat, laugh and sing.
He will be missed by his wife of 61 years, Agnes, as well by his children, Yvonne (Anthony), Daniel, Dennis (Kim), Mike, his grandchildren Austin (Courtney), Tya, James, Jem, Telum, Sunny and his great grandchildren, Scarlett and Elizabeth.
He was predeceased by his mother, father and a sister. His surviving sisters and brother and their families will keep him in their hearts.
Thank you to the caregivers, nurses and doctors at Actionmarguerite St. Boniface Personal Care Home. We are very appreciative of the excellent care he received during his stay.
Funeral service will take place at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 24, 2018 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue.
