Laura June Crema
September 10, 1958 – March 15, 2018
It is with a profound sadness that the Crema and Jackson families announce the passing of Laura June Crema on March 15, 2018. Laura died as she had lived; in the embrace of the family that she loved with all her being.
Whether sipping margaritas on a beach in Mexico, on a long walk enjoying the outdoors, celebrating birthdays, or simply gathering for karaoke or a game of Scrabble, Laura treasured time with family and friends above all else.
She was devoted to her husband of 32 years William, and the three fine young men, Matthew, Scott (Julia) and Alex (Madison), that they raised together; to her sisters Jane, Judy (Bruce), Jo-ann (Eugene); and to her nieces and nephews, and to the many friends who so enriched her life.
While a respected and much appreciated coworker at the Norburn Medical Clinic. Laura’s focus was on the nurturing of those she loved.
A lover of music and song, Laura had the tenacity to not only enter, but win, a legendary number of trips and prizes from Vancouver radio stations.
Her voice was quieted too soon, yet echoes still in our hearts.
A celebration of Laura’s life will take place on Thursday, April 19, at the Burnaby Mountain Clubhouse, 700 Halifax Street, Burnaby. 12:30pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Laura’s name can be made to the BC Cancer Agency.
