Lance Perry Thompson passed away suddenly at home in Summerland, BC on February 19, 2018 at the age of 58 years. He will be remembered and terribly missed by his loving wife of 30 years, Christine; children Beth of Summerland, BC and Matthew (Kristina) of Penticton, BC; 4 grandchildren; siblings Charlotte (Duane) of Summerland, BC, Tami of Melfort, SK, and Myron (Cheryl) of Sylvan Lake, AB; and numerous other family members and friends. He was sadly predeceased by his parents Wilbert and June.
Lance was known and loved as chef and proprietor of the Cubbyhole Restaurant from 1994-2011. He was thoughtful and caring and enjoyed his grandchildren, hot tub, convertible, and aquarium, garage sales, and scuba diving.
Lance’s Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Zia’s Stonehouse Restaurant, 14015 Rosedale Ave., Summerland, BC.
