Ken MacAleese, founder of Jolly Tours, peacefully at his home in Cobourg with his family by his side on Sunday, October 21, 2018, at 82 years of age. Beloved husband of Karen Ann MacAleese (nee Taylor). Loving father of David MacAleese (Catharine), Jonathan MacAleese (Rhonda), Faith Marion, Esther MacAleese, Stuart MacAleese, Timothy MacAleese, and step-father of Joseph Burt (Merridy), Leanne Little (Mark). Cherished grandfather of Sienna, Chloe, Jessica (Ryan), Seth, Ethan, Brenda (Brooks), Steven, Nancy, Laurie (Chase), Lisa, Krista, Bradly, and great grandfather of Owen, Hailey. Predeceased by his siblings but missed by his nieces and nephews. Also missed by his puppy Mandy.
Visitation to be held at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St. E. in Cobourg on Wednesday, October 24th, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Celebration of Life Funeral will be held at the Church on the Hill, 594 Courthouse Rd. in Cobourg on Thursday, October 25th at 11 am. Interment to follow at Welcome Cemetery in Port Hope.
