Mr. Kenneth Bellamy
Kenneth Norman Bellamy died suddenly on Thursday, Feb 15, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Mary (2009). Son of the late Norman and Biatha Bellamy. He is survived by daughters Cheryl Schrank (late Allan) and Debbie Fraser. Grandpa to Chuck (Shannon) Young, Chris Young (Katie Stortz), Carrie (Kevin) Dungey, Tyler (Cassandra) Fraser, Troy (Ashley) Fraser and Trista Fraser (Jeff Dibbley). Great Grandpa to 11. Step Grandpa to Jeremy Miller, Dawn Schots (Brad Jeniten) and Jason Schots. Loving brother to Charlie (Pat) Bellamy. Uncle Ken to special niece Sheri (Glenn) Swan, Paul (Karen) Bellamy and Peter (Martha) Bellamy. Ken grew up on a farm in Chatham Township. He drove truck for most of his life and loved travelling. He and Mary had some great adventures with Pat and Charlie, travelling the country. In recent years he enjoyed a simple life being in his backyard BBQing with a beer in his hand, driving in the country, visiting the casino and playing cards. Thank you to all the staff at Chatham Retirement Resort and Dr. McLean for taking such good care of him for the last few years. In keeping with Ken’s wishes, he will be cremated and a memorial visitation will be held at the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home, 245 Wellington West, Chatham, 519-352-2710, on Friday February 23rd with visiting from 2 to 4 p.m. Interment at a later date. Ken hated suits and all things formal so please dress casual. In lieu of flowers, donations to Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation or Outreach for Hunger.
