Katharine Diane Slater
SLATER, Katharine Diane – On Saturday November 3, 2018, in her 71st year, Kathy passed away peacefully at Brantford General Hospital with family by her side. Beloved sister of Jim Slater (Moira) of Brampton, Jean Williamson (Lee) of Brantford, Bob Slater (Judy) of Morinville, Alberta, Nancy Kusick (Dick) of Waterloo. She was predeceased by her parents Dora Slater (nee Baskerville) 1998, Jim Slater 2000 and her sisters Helen Doggett (Leigh) 1995 and Anne Slater 2010. She also leaves many nieces, nephews and cousins. Despite her intellectual and physical disabilities, she had a sweet nature. She will be sorely missed. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family for a celebration of Kathy’s life at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 177 Dundas St., Thamesford, 519-285-2427 on Saturday November 10, 2018 from 2 – 4 pm.
