Karl Preiss
“The Bible doesn’t tell us how the heavens go… it tells us how to go to heaven”
Peacefully on April 8th, 2018, Karl passed into heaven and into the arms of the Lord. Karl is proceeded by his mom Irene and father Kurt. Karl was born in Lodz, Poland. He came to Canada during the Second World War. He leaves behind Beverley and his two sons Kurt (Uyen) and Chris.
Karl spent 35 years as a high school teacher across Canada. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, flying planes and spending summers at the cabin. Proud of his German/Canadian heritage he spent many years associated with the German Society of Manitoba and The Manitoba Wildlife Federation.
The family would like to thank everyone at Kin Place Personal Care Home for their compassionate care.

As per his last wishes cremation has taken place. On April 16th, 2018 from 7:00 pm -800 pm; final respects can be made at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue.
