Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Brantford General Hospital on Friday April 27, 2018. Beloved wife to Robert Budden devoted and loving mother to Jamie (Lynn) Budden and Jody Berdahl-Budden,
Loving Nanny to KirstenTyler (Chris). Expected Great grandma to Tanner Mackenzie James. Karen was born in Kirkland Lake, and was proud of her Northern Ontario Roots. Marrying Bob in 1961, then after several years of marriage decided to move the family to Kitchener. During this time they operated their family catering business in Waterloo. In 2004, Karen and Bob moved to Brantford and provided their catering service to Union Gas. After retirement, they stayed in the area and enjoyed their golden years. Karen will be remembered by many for her generous nature and giving spirit; This was most noticed as she would invite anyone to a friendly meal shared at the Budden home. Her kind heart will always be remembered by everyone.
Family and friends will be invited to join with the family in an interment of ashes at the Memory Gardens Cemetery on Wednesday May 2, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. If so desired memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be
appreciated by the family.
