DEMERS, Joyce Evelyn (nee Lawrence) – It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Joyce on Thurs Feb 15, 2018 in her 88th year. Beloved wife and best friend to Fern for 42 years.
Cherished mother to Roy (Judy) Phillips, George (Linda) Phillips, Ron (Nancy) Phillips and Sandra Phillips.
Special Grandmother to 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Predeceased by her parents Madge and George Lawrence and her brother Gordon Lawrence.
In keeping with Joyce’s wishes cremation has taken place. Her family will receive friends at PLEASANTVIEW FUNERAL HOME (2000 Merrittville Hwy at the corner of Hwy #20) 905-892-1699 on Sat Mar 03rd from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. followed by a Celebration of her Life in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society will be appreciated by her family.
