Obituary for Joyce Christian
Joyce Christian, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away, with her family by her side, at Chatham-Kent Hospice on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at the age of 87. Joyce is the daughter of the late Norman Newton and Phyllis Constance (Bailey) Neal. Beloved wife of the late William “Bill” Christian. Cherished mother of Ron Christian (Julie), the late Janice Lynn Christian and grandmother of Scott (Tringa) and Robert. Loving companion of Bill Glendinning. Music being a large part of Joyce’s life, she was a member of the Kent County Sweet Adelines, the Chatham-Kent Singers and the choirs at Trinity United Church, Wallaceburg. The family would like to thank all the caring and skilled Medical Practitioners who have helped Joyce and her family through the past 15 months. The family will receive relatives and friends at Trinity United Church, 750 Wellington St., Wallaceburg, on Sunday, February 4, 2018 from 1 PM until time of Memorial Service at 2 PM. A private family interment will take place at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham. Arrangements entrusted to the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street, Wallaceburg.
