Obituary of Joy « Arlene » Lewis

Arlene Lewis of Moose Jaw, SK., formerly of Durham, Ont., passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday, December, 2018 at the age of 74. She was predeceased by her parents and brother and in-laws John (Eileen) Yamniuk and Darlene and David Black. Arlene will be sadly missed by her husband of 38 years, Alvin Yamniuk ; son Ross Lewis; stepchildren Jodey (Susan) Preston, Danny (Leeanne) Preston, Tanya Channer, Kenda (Lee) Preston; 11 grandchildren 8 great-grandchildren; brothers- in-law Merv (Linda) Yamniuk, Brian (Pauline) Yamniuk, sister-in-law Gloria (Ken) Dean and by several nieces, nephews and friends. Arlene’s life revolved around her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her husband Alvin. She worked at St. Anthony’s home and Providence Place until retirement after 28 years of faithful service. A Memorial Tea will be held on Saturday January 5, 2019 at Crescent Park Event Centre, 262 Athabasca St. E., Moose Jaw from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. In living memory of Arlene a memorial planting will be made by Jones-Parkview Funeral Services.
