Our Renaissance man who will be missed.
In peace at the Chambers Hospital, Fredericton, NB on Friday, November 16, 2018, in his 67th year Joseph Richard Limoges passed away.
Survived by his loving wife Tanya Limoges (Purcell). A beloved father to daughter Monique Walsh her husband Sean, their daughter Mackenzie and to son Michael Limoges his wife Alexandra, and their daughter Audrey. Sisters Jeanine Patterson (Wally), Paulette Limoges (Frank), and Rachelle Limoges Lattery; brothers Normand Limoges (Karen) and Philippe Limoges (Christine); brothers-in-law Tyson Purcell (Diane), Troy Purcell (Jo-Ann), and Ron Gaudet (Kathy); sisters-in-law, Marlene Gaudet, Lynn Gaudet, Dayna Gaudet (Dennis), and Jan Gaudet (Alex); Mothers-in-law, Ila Purcell and Mary Gaudet; and his many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Pre-deceased by his first wife, Valerie Ann Limoges (nee Gaudet); mother, Simone Limoges; father, Bertin Limoges; fathers-in-law James Daniel Purcell and James Joseph Gaudet.
Rick will be remembered for his strength, kindness, curiosity, sense of humour and calmness. Throughout his life Rick enjoyed a wide range of pursuits that include: drawing, welding, stained glass, woodworking, scuba diving, biking, floor hockey, curling, Knights of Columbus, public speaking, ancestry, tai chi, reiki, and travelling. He loved spending time with his two dogs Westley and Penelope.
Born in McClennan, AB he lived and worked throughout his life in Dawson Creek, Edmonton, Halifax, Moncton, Comox, Petawawa, and Fredericton. Studying at NAIT. His time in the military took him to Bosnia and Haiti on peacekeeping missions. Retiring in Fredericton in 2012 as Sergeant.

There will be a celebration of life to honour the memory of Rick Limoges at Finnegan’s in Pembroke, ON at 1pm-4pm on Friday, November 30. Friends and family are welcome to join in honouring Rick with stories in person or by leaving a tribute at www.nevillefuneralhome.ca In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made for research in Glioblastoma through www.braintumour.ca in memory of Joseph Richard Limoges.
