John Richard Cojocari
July 7, 1937 – July 8, 2018
John Richard Cojocari passed away at home on July 8, 2018 at the age of 81.
John is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Angela Reimann.
John is lovingly remembered by his children Lisa and Gio (Pam), and his many cousins and dear friends from all corners of the world.
John was born in Canora, Saskatchewan on July 7th, 1937. He worked as a miner, driller/ blaster and was a union member of LiUNA Local 1611 for 50 years. John’s hands were instrumental in building all the major dams, Site C diversion tunnels, and BC Hydro micro wave tower platforms in remote areas of British Columbia. In retirement, John was an avid beekeeper.
John enjoyed woodworking, fishing, being a family man and spending time with friends and relatives. He was a quiet and dignified man who will be sorely missed by all who touched his life.
Join us for a Celebration of his life, which will be held on Saturday, July 28th, 2018 from 2 pm to 6 pm at his family home.
