It is with great sadness that the family of the late
JOHN EDWARDS of Calgary, formerly of St.
Lawrence announces his passing on Monday, June 11th, 2018 after a
lengthy battle with Cancer at the age of 51.
Leaving
to mourn with fond and loving memories are his loving children Lacey,
Logan, Colton and their mother Gina of Calgary; brother, Morgan
Edwards (Dallas) of BC; sisters, Emma Edwards of Little Bay
and Tracey Slaney (Wade) of St. Lawrence; his best friend, John Brewer
(Bonnie) of St. Lawrence; special cousin Aubrey Harris (Karen) of
Australia; special uncle, Charles Harris (Theresa) of
Little Bay; special nephew Jayden; plus a large circle of
relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his
parents, Augustus and Elsie Edwards; sister, Evelyn;
and brother, Charlie. Cremation has taken place.
The Edwards Family will be
accepting visitors at St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church in St.
Lawrence on Thursday, June 14th from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00
p.m. A Celebration of His Life will take place 8:00 p.m.
at St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, June
14th, with a social to follow at
Nanny B’s. A Graveside Service will take
place at Mount Cecilia Cemetery in St. Lawrence on Friday, June 15 at
11:00 a.m.
In John’s memory, donations may be made to
the Sunshine Friends Mental Wellness Group, St. Lawrence, please no
flowers by request of the
family.
