It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of John Allister ‘Little Johnny’ MacKinnon on Jan. 9, 2018 at home. Born in Black Point on Oct 14, 1950, he was the son of the late Donald A. and Jessie Florence (Burton) MacKinnon. Johnny was loved by many, he had lots of friends. He was a member of the Sydney Mines Pensioner’s Club. Johnny loved to hunt, and fish. He spent a lot of time at Robins in Sydney Mines chatting with his friends. He spent most of his life working as a fisherman and woodsman. He was last employed at Victoria Co-op fisheries. As we all know he was a big Montreal Canadians fan!! Johnny is survived by…
