Passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the age of 74. Dear brother of Freda Repke (Walter), Loni Schleicher (Henry), Erwin (the late Mary), Rudy (Elsie).
John will be missed and remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Johann and Martha (nee Wittmeier) Freiheit, and his sister Greta Gingerich.
John was a heavy equipment operator for the City of Kitchener and E. & E. Seegmiller
John’s family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 from 10-10:45 am at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener 519-749-8467. A memorial service will take place in the chapel of the funeral home at 11 am on Wednesday followed by a reception.
Private cremation. Interment will take place at St. Peter’s Cemetery following the reception.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family (cards available at funeral home).
