Joan Labrecque
We loved her in life and will never forget her in death. Our family is sad to announce that Mary Theresa « Joan » Labrecque was called to God’s side on Tuesday March 27th, 2018 at the age of 84 after a long and courageous battle with dementia and diabetes. A wife of 59 years to the late Gus Labrecque, a mother to Dale, Gordie, Michael and the late Mark Labrecque. Joan was also a grandmother to Shawn, Jennifer, Katie & Chris and a great grandmother of 9 as well as one of 6 sisters who’s chain has now been broken.
Joan will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Her son’s wish to acknowledge the unwavering support received by the entire family over our Mother’s final journey and wish to thank the entire staff at the West End Villa for their care and kindness.

on Tuesday April 3rd from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9pm. A mass will be held at St. Martin de Porres Church on Wednesday April 4th at 10am. Private family interment will follow in Arnprior on Friday April 6th. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Dementia Society or CHEO would be greatly appreciated by the family.
