With great sadness his family announces his passing at his home in Wahgoshig First Nation, Ontario on Thursday December 13th, 2018 at the age of 48. Jim will be sadly missed by his spouse Bonnie Sackaney, his children Raven Babcock, Skyler Sackaney, his parents-in-law George & Betty Sackaney, borthers and sisters-in-law Chris (Ginger) Sackaney, Adam (Ashley) Sackaney, Fred Sackaney and Alphonse Mallette. Jim also leaves behind the entire Wahgoshig community, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
The wake will be held at the Wahgoshig Community Centre, 140 Concession Road, from 10 am on Tuesday December 18th, 2018. The Funeral Service will be held at the Wahgoshig Community Centre on Wednesday December 19th, 2018 starting at 10 am with burial to follow in the Wahgoshig First Nation Cemetery.
