Mr. Jim Hazzard
At Windsor Regional Hospital on Wednesday June 27th, 2018, Mr. Jim Hazzard of Chatham in his 58th year. Cherished son of Rose Hazzard of Chatham and the late Blake (1979). Beloved husband and best friend of Carol (Lebert). Loving father of Sara Hazzard, Matt Hazzard, Jake Hazzard and his wife Charlotte, and his “extra” son Pat Bailey. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandsons Braydon and Blake Hazzard. Dear brother of Deb Ripley, Colleen Buchanan, and Barb Charron and her partner Mike Chase. Cherished son-in-law of Grace Lebert and the late Don (1989), and loving brother-in-law of Dave (Sharon)Lebert, Mary Lebert, Pam Taylor, Liz Lebert, Dennis Lebert and Michelle Shepherd (Jeff). He also survived by many nieces and nephews. Jim worked at Union Gas in the meter shop, and he loved golf, darts and camping. Family and friends are invited to the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home, 245 Wellington West, Chatham, 519-352-2710 on Friday June 29th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A memorial service will be held on Saturday June 30th at 11 a.m. with Deacon Jerry Lozon officiating. Cremation has taken place. Interment at a later date. Friends planning an expression of remembrance are asked to consider New Beginnings ABI & Stroke Recovery Association and A.L.L. for Kids.
