Jessie Forsyth Murray
Jessie Forsyth Murray, age 96, of Windsor Junction, Nova Scotia passed away peacefully at the Arborstone Extended Care Facility on October, 27 2018. Born in Brechin, Scotland where she fell in love and married Gordon Murray, her Canadian soldier, in July 1942. In 1946, she immigrated to Nova Scotia with her young son Gordon Jr. to join her husband. They raised their family in Windsor Junction. In her later years she very much enjoyed dancing with the Silver Strutters at various events and nursing homes. She left behind loved ones, sons Gordon (Phyllis) and Colin (Margaret); grandchildren Jason, Jennifer Murray-Stokes, Craig, Adam, Gordon Leitch and Deanne Bennet; 12 great grandchildren, and one great, great grandson. She was predeceased by her husband Gordon, daughter Pamela (Leitch) and son Scott. The family wishes to convey their thanks to Lorraine Boutlier, a special friend.A graveside Service will be held in Oakridge Memorial Gardens in the summer of 2019.
