Janina Zygmunt (nee Wyszynska) – March 11, 1929 – February 3, 2018, LaSalle, Quebec
Janina, our beloved Mother and Babcia left this world, and begins her journey on the other
side where she will re-unite with Jozef, her treasured husband of 54 years, who pre-deceased
her in 2012. Janina was born in Wyszonki Koscieine,Poland and came to Canada in 1957.
Janina is survived and was comforted by her 3 children, Krystyna (Dave), John (Anne) and Theresa.
Her grandchildren will miss her dearly, David (Joy-Lynn), Amanda, Joshua (Ashley), Austin, Rachel,
Jacqueline, Steven, Lisa, and great grandchildren, Jordan, Dayton, Alexis, Colton, and Chase.
Janina was a devout Catholic. Her family was her world and she nurtured them with authentic
meals made with love. She loved her gardens, growing the most beautiful flowers
and deliscious foods. She worked hard but never forgot to live, embracing life at the cottage, entertaining friends, and enjoying many events at the Polish Hall.
Visitation is on February 7th between 2-5 and 7-9pm and February 8th between 9-10:30, at Comlexe Yves Legare, 7200 Newman Blvd, LaSalle.
Funeral Services are at 11am on February 8th at Holy Trinity Parish, 1660 Center St.
