1984 – 2018
Miss Jamie Carswell passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Friday, December 21, 2018 at the age of 34 years. Jamie was born on February 7, 1984 at Lethbridge, Alberta. Jamie was very proud of being a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. She enjoyed camping, listening to music, food, and she loved her family with all her heart. Jamie was most proud of her son, Lincoln and her beloved dog, Huxley; Lincoln was her whole world; Her accomplishments in life are because of him. Jamie will be lovingly remembered by her devoted parents, Robert Allen and Pauline Carswell; her cherished son, Lincoln James Carswell; her sisters, Tanya (Christopher) Michel and their children, Makayla, Kaleigha and Skyler and Jessica (Nicholas) Ryan and their children, Cayden, Preston and Payton. Jamie will also be very deeply missed by her RCMP Family and many dear and close friends.
A Limb Has Fallen
A limb has fallen from the family tree, I keep hearing a voice
that says « Grieve not for me! » Remember the best times,
the laughter, the song, the good life lived while I was strong.
Continue my heritage, I’m counting on you, keep smiling
and surely the sun will shine through. My mind is at ease,
my soul is at rest, remembering all, now I truly was blessed.
Continue traditions, no matter how small, go on with your life,
don’t just stare at the wall. I miss you all dearly, so keep up
your chin, until the day comes we’re together again.
