1929-2018
James Robert Young passed peacefully at The Bay
St. George Long Term Care Centre in Stephenville Crossing, NL on
Monday, June 4, 2018 at the age of 88. James leaves to mourn his
children: Alexander Michael, Eugene James, Christine Mildred, Charles
Arthur (Barb), John Craig (Wendy) and many grandchildren and a few
great-grandchildren: brother Raymond (Rita); sister Jean as well as a
large circle of extended family and friends. James was predeceased by
his parents William and Mildred; brothers Eddy, Clifford, Alfred;
sister Linda. The family would like to thank the Bay St. George Long
Term Care Centre for the care and comfort they offered during his
stay. Visitation will take place at St. Joseph’s Parish, St.
George’s, NL on Thursday, June 7, 2018 from 7 – 9 p.m from
where the funeral service will take place on Friday, June 8, 2018 at
10 a.m. with Fr. Edmund Dantas officiating. As expressions of sympathy
flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity
of one’s choice. The family guess book may be signed by
visiting our website at www.fillatre.ca. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to
Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL.
