Peacefully on June 14, 2018 Lorne passed away at the Oakview Care Centre at the age of 82.
Lorne was predeceased by his parents Vernon and Doris Hiles.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Yvette; siblings Gerald, George and Carol; sister in law Rita and brother in law John as well as his nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
Lorne was a avid sportsman who enjoyed a good game of Golf, playing hockey, enjoyed a challenging game of trivia and a nice cold one. He loved the trips that he and Yvette took and golfed together in places like Cuba, Mexico and the Dominican. Lorne is best known for his work in the Window and Doors business both manufacturing and distribution.
At Lorne’s request a Cremation graveside service was held.
The family wish to thank the staff at the Oakview Personal Care Home for compassion and care.
