James « Jim » W. Ellis
1915-2018
The family of James « Jim » Wesley Ellis
announces his passing on Thursday January 4, 2018 at his home in
Rothesay. Born in Saint John on July 17, 1915, he was a son of the
late Andrew and Bessie (Dallon) Ellis.
Jim attended Vocational School, training as a sheet
metal worker and worked for Emerson’s and then Pascal-Emerson’s before
retirement in 1982.
Jim is survived by his children: James (the late
Frances), Joan Seepman (the late John), Joyce Henderson (Doug), Lois
Miller (Gordon), Ronald (Diane), Cecil, Linda Carlson (David), and
George (Margaret), 21 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 6
great-great
grandchildren.
Jim was predeceased by his wife Mildred (Marr) Ellis,
son Kenneth, brothers: Ronald and Harvey, half sisters: Viola
Henderson and Helen
McIssac.
As per the family’s request there will be no
visitation. A private interment will take place at Ocean
View Memorial Gardens in the spring. Arrangements are under the care
and direction of Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill
Road, Quispamsis (849-2119). For those who wish remembrances may be
made to a charity of the donor’s
choice.
