Obituary for
James Robertson
James Donald Robertson of Killaloe died peacefully on October 17, 2018 in the palliative unit at the Ottawa General Hospital with friends and family at his side after a valiant battle with cancer. Survived by loving wife of 31 years, Linda (Bloedow), brother-in-law Carl, sister-in-law Darlene (Mark), mother Katherine, sisters Laurie (John), Sandra, and brother Bill, all of British Columbia. Predeceased by his father James.
Jim was born July 20, 1961 in Nanaimo, grew up in Ladysmith and North Vancouver, and met the love of his life in Cranbrook BC in 1985. Jim and Linda spent their life together in both British Columbia and on Linda’s family farm outside of Killaloe, Ontario. Although Jim worked as a carpenter/contractor for many years, he spent the latter part of his life creating art and his paintings hang on walls from coast to coast.
Respecting Jim’s wishes, there will be no wake or funeral. Friends and family are invited to gather at Linda’s home at 687 Heritage Road Killaloe Ontario on Sunday October 28th, 2018 from 12 – 5 p.m. Professional services entrusted to the care of Zohr Family Funeral Home, Killaloe. Jim will be forever loved and missed by his wife and family. Rest in Peace.
