James A. Semple (Jim)
It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Jim in the comfort of this own home on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at the age of 72 years. Beloved husband of Alice (nee Lacoste) and loving father of Connie (Tom) , Bill (Lori), Lea (Alan), Corby (Brittany), Barb (Paul), Debbie (Bill) and Late Cheryl. Cherished grandfather of Branden, Trienda (Brandon), Courtney, Robin, Korah, Rachelle (John), Francine (Peter), Alora (Kevin), Nick, Chris (Jori), Spencre, Aden, Ethan and Thane as well as great grandfather of Genesis, Aubrey, Michael, Scarlette, Odin and Fjola. Dear brother of Meryle (Beverly). Uncle to Edna (Donald), Tara, Tabitha, Sabrina, Shane, Alexander, Claude, Barry, Robert, Dwayne, Jamie, Stephanie, Annette and Andrea. Predeceased by his parents Alexander and Muriel Semple and his siblings Sharon, Stephen and Stewart (Janice) and his nephew Wesley.
Jim enjoyed the outdoors, the camp and especially blueberry picking. He was in the Kinsmen club and the Legion. He worked at the Dome mine for many years. A special thank you to all who helped Jim and Alice at the Camp. We are truly grateful.
The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 4:00 pm on Monday, August 20, 2018 at the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home. Cremation will follow. Remembrance donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #181 would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the
