September 27, 1927 – March 16, 2018
HUIZING, Jacomyntje Maria (Myna) – Our family wishes to announce the passing of our precious Mom, Oma, and Great Oma in her 91st year on Friday March 16, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Gerrit (Gerry) Huizing for 64 years. Daughter of the late Nicolas Buis and the late Francyna (Van Helvoort) Buis. Dear mother and mother-in-law of the late Cris Huizing (Deanna), Mary Robb (Don), Nick Huizing (Nancy), Gary Huizing (Mary Jane) and Cynthia Huizing. Much loved Oma of Gerry (Jasmine), Nicole, Katrina (Chris), Heidi and David, Karey and Melissa, Ryan (Leah), Aaron (Angela), Meghan (Eric), Kristen (Matt). Great Oma of 11 with two more little ones on the way. Much loved sister and sister-in-law of the late Mary Provoost (late Pete), Geurt Buis (Jenny), late Richard Buis (Nellie), late Jennie Driesman (late Gillis), late Jane Greer (late Ron), late Nick Buis (Sadie), Minnie Chapman (late Robert), Ben Buis (Nell). Predeceased by one brother-in-law and one sister-in-law and their spouses in the Netherlands. Much loved Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to visit Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. – 705-759-2522) on Saturday March 24 from 10:30 am until the time of the service in the chapel at 12 noon. The Family wishes to thank Dr. Apostle, Dr Barbeau, NE LHIN, the Bayshore Nurses (especially Jennifer who was our Earth Angel), Care Partners and all those who cared for Myna with true respect and love.
