Jack passed away peacefully on Saturday December 15, 2018. He was an incredible man; a friend, husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He graced his friends and family for 94 years. He will be rejoining his beloved wife Marion of 61 years. He will be fondly remembered by his two children Sue (John) and Jeff (Sandra), his grandchildren Katie (Dan), Andrew (Jaime), Josh, Daniel, and his great grandson, and namesake Jack. For 25 years he volunteered and was a Board Member at Trillium Hospital. His true love and passion was Sauble Beach. He always looked forward to spending his time there with family and friends. The family wishes to express a special heartfelt thank you to the wonderful compassionate staff at Sterling Heights Long Term Care in Cambridge where he finished his life’s journey.
Friends are invited to share their memories and celebrate Jack’s life during a visitation at Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Hwy. 10, N., off of the QEW, on Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 12-3 p.m.
A private family service will follow.
