It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Jack Bowling on Wednesday August 29, 2018 at the St. Andrew’s Terrace Nursing Home. A devoted and caring husband to Connie. Loving Father to Jay (Marilena), Nicole Neil (Brent Mitchell). Sadly missed by his grandchildren Jared Neil, and Alyssa Mendes (Matthew). Survived by his siblings Marylou Westenhoefer (Doug), and Darlene Kennedy.
Jack will be fondly remembered for his love of classic cars, his 1940’s Dodge, 55 Thunderbird and the Ranchero; and how he loved to show them off at local car shows. Usually winning or taking home a prize, this would spark the twinkle in his eye and the impish smile beneath his trademark moustache.
At Jack’s request cremation has taken place a Celebration of his life will be held at the Bridgeport Rod and Gun club on Sunday September 16, 2018 from 1 – 4 p.m.
Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
