J. Rheal Richard
1939-2018
It is with sadness we announce the
passing of J. Rheal Richard, age 78, of
Petite Cap, NB. Rheal passed away at the Dr. Georges L.
DuMont Hospital on Monday, March 12, 2018.
Born in Petite Cap NB he was the son of
the late Gilbert and Edmee (Jacob) Richard.
Rheal had a warm smile for everyone he
met and a mischievous twinkle in his eyes. He was a hard worker and
could always be counted on by friends and family to lend a hand when
needed. He was deeply loved and will be truly missed.
He is survived by his wife Marie;
daughter Amy (James); son Gil (Meghan) and two grandsons he adored,
Eric (Alisha) and Cory (Bryanna). He is also survived by sisters
Gilberte, Jeanita, Lola, Therese, Maria, Huguette & Joan and
brothers Yvon, Dick, Raymond, Claude & Bernie, his best friend
and hockey watching pal Laurie, as well as many nieces and
nephews.
He was predeceased by daughter Tracy,
brothers Val and Bliss and infant sister Maria.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted
to Jones Funeral Home, of Sackville and
Port Elgin, NB (506-364-1300). Visiting hours will take
place at the Club D’Age D’Or, Shemogue on Friday from 7 to 9
pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 17,
2018 at 10:30 am, Father Savio Mazerolle officiating. Burial
will take place in the parish cemetery in the spring.
