Belisle, Ivan James
Peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 in his 93rd year, Ivan Belisle, beloved husband of Norma Belisle of 66 years. Loving father of Barbara Erhardt (Brian Smith), Linda Chittock (Mark), Deborah Torek (Phillip). Dear brother of Donald Belisle (Chris), Lenore Ottney and predeceased by John, Violet, Shirley, Martin, Bill, Lawrence. Loving grandfather of Tyler (Ashleigh), Brandon (Amy), Ashley (Pedro), Abbey (Matt) and great-grandfather of Alex, Lilleigh, Calista, Vera. Ivan was a veteran of World War II and a D-Day participant; was a life member of the Stormont Dundas and Glengarry Highland Glens Association; was a retired employee of Harding Carpets, where he worked for 39 years. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place. If wished, memorial donations to the Juravinski Hospital and St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton gratefully appreciated.
